Pia Hallstrom
Swedish-born jeweller Pia Hallstrom is an award-winning designer, formerly head of design at Burberry London. She is trained at Parsons School of Design and Fashion Institute of Technology, in New York.
Always passionate about design, as a young girl Pia began making her own clothes and jewellery. Pia went on to design for Donna Karan and Ralph Lauren in New York before creating entire collections that placed Burberry as an international luxury brand.
Today Pia Hallstrom creates precious jewellery with an element of the unexpected, designed to lift spirits, to inspire and to love forever. Her understated Scandinavian aesthetic focuses on design and wearability for all times of day, for women of all ages.
Handcrafted in London, each piece of a Pia Hallstrom Jewel, is an investment that sits somewhere between a pair of skinny jeans and a Birkin bag. Unlike high fashion pieces that change each season, her jewels are designed to be worn season after season, generation after generation....
'A beautiful piece of jewellery transcends time and trends. It becomes a part of you and tells your story forever.'
The Collection
‘My goal is for my jewellery to naturally enhance the beauty of the wearer without stealing attention away from her. I’ve designed this collection to be worn every day, with everything.’
For SS25, Pia has introduced a collection that is distinctive, bold, and undone with a 70’s inspired vibe. The collection consists of industrial chains, large coloured sapphires, gemstones such as emeralds and rubies, and rare cut diamonds.
For Pia, inspiration comes from her life, mainly her travels around the world. A vintage belt from a Moroccan souk bearing a triangular stud motif formed the basis of the brand's now iconic pyramid bracelet. A visit to a Zaha Hadid exhibition in Venice inspired the Baguette necklace. Meanwhile, her summers in the South of France sent Pia photographing nature and exploring its wildlife, resulting in the animal collection.
‘I love designing and I love helping people. Making them happy with pretty things is the best way I know how.’
